The Flying Squid Challenge #10
First, parents and their squid(s) draw a scribble on a piece of paper. Then, they pass it around and look for shapes, or possible drawings within the scribble. Can you find a tree, a rectangle, or maybe a rhinoceros? If your squids are very young, you can always help them by drawing on top of their scribble to find easier shapes, like a circle, a pair of triangles, etc.
You won’t believe it, but Chopito, the Flying Squid, found, on Naru’s scribble, a baboon reading Nietzsche while holding a cone of apricot ice cream with its tail!
Chopito couldn’t find an apricot cone or a book by Nietzsche, so he acted out the scribble by balancing mango sorbet ice cream on his foot while reading The hole book by Peter Newell.
