Sunreel Inc. (“us”, “we”, or “our”) is a group of artists who want to provide safe Apps and content for parents and children. Our Apps “You and The Flying Squid” are targeted to children under the age of 13, and we expect them to use the App in collaboration with an adult.
Our Apps:
– Have NO Push Notifications.
– Have NO third party adds.
– Have PARENTAL GATES to access a parents/educators section that may include social media links and other educational links.
– Have NO analytics.

Personal Information:
We collect personal information (email) only via the email that you can voluntarily give to us if you would like to subscribe to our newsletter, or through the feedback that you provide to us. These newsletter subscriptions and feedback forms are intended only for adults, and a parental gate protects the access to these forms on our apps. We never intend to get email from people under the age of 18.
On our apps, all of the social media links and sharing options are protected by parental gates. To the best of our ability, we will protect your child’s privacy by denying them access to those sites.
The links to social media websites: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube, etc. are external links and they are not hosted on our app. To the best of our knowledge, we do not collect any personal information by you using those sites. Their privacy policy may apply by your decision to engage with them.
We also provide the option to share our app with other people via email, by the launch of your default email provider, or the possibility of the “rate our app” feature through the Apple store. (Also protected by a parental gate)
We do not place any kind of advertisement on our apps aside from promoting our own apps, or sharing our values in sections like “Great Things to Share”. In this section, we may include links to external websites that will launch on your default browser, and load outside of our own application.
When you exit our apps and access those external referral links, this may lead to the application of their privacy policy. We will not be held responsible for any of their content or usage of the information that these external referral links may collect from you.
We absolutely do not sell any of the personal information that we may collect; it is for internal use only.
To the best of our ability both our apps and website comply with Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule (“COPPA”).
