The Flying Squid Challenge #14
Start the challenge by playing some fun music: it’s time to break out the records and your old dance moves from the 90s (preferably no mosh pits)! First, the parent dances, and his/her squid copies their moves. In the next song, the squid creates the choreography and the parent follows.
You can try classic ballroom moves, or more contemporary K-pop moves, but you don’t need to be a Fred Astaire. As Chopito likes to say, “The best move is the move that gets you moving.”
As we all know, marine squids have ten tentacles, and human squids only have two arms and two legs, so Naru has a hard time copying Chopito’s dance moves!
This time, Chopito only used four of his tentacles to choreograph his dance, so it was easier for Naru to mirror his dance.
Don’t forget to share pictures of your children’s activities with your loved ones. Please tag them: #TheFlyingSquidChallenge. We’d love to see them too. Remember, sharing this challenge with other parents in your network will give you bonus points!
