The Flying Squid Challenge #16
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 2020 night Olympiads to see which members of the family can win the gold, silver, and bronze medals in the discipline “Three Meters with one Pajama and no Hurdles”. The challenge: who’s the fastest at putting on pajamas and going to sleep? If that’s too easy, how about who’s the fastest at putting on pajamas using only one hand? Or how about only using six tentacles?
Since you might not have an Olympic pistol handy, just use a clap to start the games!
Whoever falls asleep first, please raise your hands so the judges can register your time, and see if you can break the world record. The astonishing record, at a time of 4.8 seconds, is currently held by Ariel, the Giant Armadillo. The record broke down like this: 3.1 seconds to put on her pajamas and 1.7 seconds to fall asleep.
Giant Armadillos sleep on average 18.1 hours, and on the day of the competition, Ariel only slept 12 hours, so clearly she was exhausted. Some claim that it was an unfair game, but the record still stands.
Gold medal for Naru, silver for Chopito and the bronze for Chopiton, who needs to improve his technique of disconnecting from screens past 8PM…
